宁静的夏威夷风情咖啡馆 - DiB

有没有想过有这样一家咖啡馆，当你和服务员沟通时，所示用的语言不是英语，也不是华语或国语，而是手语，对这样的一家咖啡馆你会有什么感觉？

这家坐落在白沙罗柏兰岭（Damansara Perdana)，店名叫DIB的咖啡馆，是全国第一家完全只聘请听障员工的夏威夷咖啡馆，店名DIB其实就是DEAF IN BUSINESS的缩写，从1月初开业至今刚满三个月。

其实在这里的感觉和其他的咖啡馆没什么两样，只是多了份宁静，还有许多亲切的微笑。而这些微笑，都挂在这些聋哑服务员的脸上。

然而，让我感到惊喜的是这里的咖啡，其实并不输给那些著名的咖啡连锁店。

如果您也是咖啡爱好者，不妨到这尝一尝这里香浓的咖啡，并且感受一下这份宁静的夏威夷风情。



Maui Mokha咖啡
当服务员捧出咖啡的那一刻，这股浓浓的咖啡香是那么的诱人。



百香果芝士蛋糕
竟然忘了在大快朵颐前拍个照留念，结果一下子就只剩下这残羹。

Are you a coffee lover?

If yes, then you should not miss out this fabulous cafe which is located at Damansara Perdana. This cafe is the first Deaf Gourmet Hawaiian Coffee in Malaysia - DiB Coffees Of Hawaii.

DiB stand for Deeaf in Business.

If you are worry about how to communicate with a deaf waiter? No problem! You will be provided the order paper and a pencil.



I ordered a cup of Maui Mokha.
Very strong coffee taste. In fact, the coffee here is
much more better than those giant franchise.

Passion Fruit Cheese Cake
Sorry, I forgot to take a photo before I start eating it non-stop.
So now the left over. But the taste is really good. 
If you love cheese cake, I am sure you will like it too.

Restoran Nam Hing Loong @ Temoh, Perak 南兴隆海鲜饭店

Every time when I go back to my wife's hometown, always notice this restaurant is very crowded. Especially during some Chinese festive season, this restaurant is always full house. I guess the food must be very nice.

The restaurant is called Nam Hing Loong, whichi is located in a small town in Perak - Temoh.

Finally we have a chance to try the food there.

 Drunken Fish Soup (醉酒鱼汤).
Very delicious. The deep fried fish and bone is perfectely matched with the wine.

Frog with Ginger and Spring Onion (姜葱田鸡)

 Dry-Fried Prawns（干煎虾碌）this is sooooo nice.

Fried Eel with Spring Union and Ginger (姜葱炒黄鳝)



"Fatt Put" (yam ring) with Ku Lou Yuk.
You may choose different meat if you want e.g. squid.

Restaurant Khun Thai @ Taman Petaling off Jalan Gasing

This restaurant is one of my favourite Thai restaurant which is located at Taman Petaling (off Jalan Gasing).

Why I like it so much? It is because the food is delicious and the price is reasonable.

This Lemon Fish is Khun Thai's signature dish. Must try!!
The taste is so delicious, sour and spicy. Yummy!!!

This dish can be served with different type of fish but I think Siakap
is the best and the price not so expensive.

Seafood Tom Yam. This tom yam soup is nice too. However if you also
order the lemon fish, then I suggest you not to take this one. Otherwise
your mouth will get "burn"... :D

Sambal Petai with prawn.

Organic Recipe @ Casa Utama, Bandar Utama

People are more health conscious these days, and that makes the organic products and restaurant are getting popular nowadays.

Are you an organic foods lover?

If yes, I would like to introduce this restaurant called Organic Recipe to you. The restaurant is located inside a condominium. It offers flavorful and delightful healthy vegetarian cuisine.

Assam Fish. This dish is perfectly go with white rice. The sauce is tasty
and not so spicy. Yummy!

Fried Sotong. OMG! I love this dish sooo much. Crispy and taste.
I really eating this non-stop.

Steamed Tofu.

Bittergourd fried with Shetake Mushroom in a black bean sauce.
Simple and delicious. 



Kam Heong Fish.

The Fruit Tea. For those who come to this restaurant,
I would  recommend them not to order other drinks
except this fuit tea. A little sour and not very sweet.
It helps digestion after taking the meal.

The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor. The place is very quite and it is a good place for family and friends gathering.

Besides serving delicious organic foods, they are also selling range of organic products e.g. biscuits, raisins, coffee, shampoo and etc.

Restoran Kong Sai @ Sunway Mentari 广西仔

This is the 2nd time I been to this restaurant - Restoran Kong Sai which is located at Sunway Mentari, Petaling Jaya.

Reason I choose this place to have my lunch today was because one of my collague was so desperately wanted to try their Hot Pepper Pork Intestine Soup (胡椒猪肚汤)。




Curry Pork Ribs. I love this so much. It is very tasty and perfect match
with white rice. MUST TRY !!!

Steamed Kampung Chicken. This is a house specialty in this restaurant.

The chicken was very tender andsmooth.



 

Stuffed Tau Foo Pok with Fish Paste. I feel the taste is average as I  had
tried a better one before.

Hot Pepper Pork Intestine Soup. The soup served with a claypot with
 a very generous portion of button mushroom, pork and pig stomach.
Very strong pepper taste. Yummy!

Mei Gai Yuan Restaurant @ Taman Bukit Maluri 美佳缘

I have never tried the food in Mei Gai Yuan Restaurant before. In fact I do not have intention to visit this restaurant.

After visit the pasar malam at Taman Bukit Maluri with my wife and mum-in-law, we felt so tired and lazy to think of where to have our dinner later. So we decided to look for any near by restaurants around here. My wife suggested why not try this Mei Gai Yuan.

First, my wife ordered the Steamed Kampung Chicken because she saw the photo taken look very nice. Then the waitress recommended Ginger Steamed Talapia fish to us because today got promotion. Last we ordered a Kangkong Belacan.

And....surprise me!! the taste of the food here really not bad.

Steamed Kampung Chicken (菜园鸡) topped with Fried
Ginger and special soy sauce. We like this chicken so much.

The Kangkong Belacan taste not bad too.

The fish is fresh and perfectly match with the ginger.
Delicious !!!

End up we paid RM55 (with 3 plate white rices and a pot of chinese tea). Reasonable!!
